The MKIIIa 'Heretic' pattern Flamer fires a holy mix of blessed chemicals that ignite upon contact with the air and burn the enemies of the emperor in a cleansing fire. Flamers are infantry support weapons with the intent of utter incineration of infantry. The MKIIIa Flamer is a flamethrower-type weapon that projects an ignited stream of Promethium fuel over a wide area, igniting many enemies in a single blast. It fires in a quick, 2 second burst of extremely hot flames, and the fuel sticks to whatever it hits and burns for a short period of time. The burst can kill most infantry in one blast. The flame spreads outwards, which is very useful in tight corridors or in cities.
The MKIIIa Flamer can fire 6 bursts before requiring a fresh fuel canister.

The flamer has now been rigged and we've even tested it in C&C Renegade. It looks lovely, although the model (using the normal Renegade engine) looks choppy. Well, we'll fix that, don't you worry.
